Terms of Service

Last Updated: 01/04/2026

Hey there! Welcome to the Drom Terms of Service. We know reading legal terms might not be as thrilling as setting a new personal best on the track, but these rules are essential for keeping our community safe - both in the app and out on the run. Think of this agreement as the rules of the race.

By creating a Drom account, you are entering into a legally binding contract with Drom Ltd. and is solely responsible for the App and its content.

1. Eligibility (Who Can Run With Us)

Before you lace up your shoes and log in, make sure you qualify. To use Drom, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Be legally permitted to use the app by the laws of the State of Israel.
  • Never have been convicted of a felony or any indictable offense, particularly those involving violence or sexual misconduct.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If you think someone has gained access to your account, let us know immediately. You agree to provide accurate information — no fake names, and no impersonation. You get one account; please do not share it.

3. The Rules of the Track (Community Guidelines)

Drom is a place to connect, train, and date. To keep the vibes right, you agree that you will NOT:

  • Harass, bully, stalk, or intimidate any other runner.
  • Use the app for commercial purposes, spam, or soliciting money.
  • Post content that is hate speech, threatening, sexually explicit, or promotes violence.
  • Upload viruses, scrapers, or attempt to reverse-engineer our app.

Because Drom has a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive behavior, we reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account immediately and without notice if you violate these rules.

User Generated Content (UGC) and Moderation

Drom maintains a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users. We utilize manual review and User reporting to screen for objectionable material. Users may flag inappropriate content or report abusive users at any time using the "Report" button located on every user profile and chat screen. Additionally, you may sever all contact with another user via the "Block" feature. Drom commits to reviewing all user reports and taking appropriate action, including the removal of content and ejection of abusive users, within 24 hours of a report being submitted.

4. Safety and Real-World Meetups (Assumption of Risk)

Please read this section carefully—it is the most important part of our Terms.

Drom encourages you to meet up with other users for runs and dates. We do not conduct criminal background checks on our users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others. Always meet in public, well-lit places, tell a friend where you are going, and use your best judgment. You assume all risks associated with using the Services, including emotional distress, bodily injury, or property damage.

Physical Activity Waiver:

Running is inherently physically demanding. By using Drom to coordinate workouts, you acknowledge that participating in physical exercise carries risks of injury or even death. You are solely responsible for evaluating your own fitness level before meeting a match for a run. Drom provides no medical advice and assumes no liability for any physical injuries or health issues sustained during a meetup.

5. Rights We Grant You

We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, non-exclusive, and revocable license to access and use Drom for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

6. Rights You Grant Us

By posting your profile, photos, and running routes on Drom, you grant us a worldwide, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free right and license to host, store, use, display, and modify your content to operate, protect, and improve the app. You promise that you own the rights to whatever you post.

7. Disclaimers

Drom is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We don't promise that the app will always be error-free, secure, or that your matches will be perfect. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, on or off the app.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Israeli law, Drom (and our affiliates, directors, and employees) will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of goodwill, or loss of profits, arising out of your use of the app or your real-world interactions with other users.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms, and any disputes arising between you and Drom, are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal claim or dispute will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts located in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Drom harmless from any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the app, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of a third party.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other safety guidelines we publish, make up the entire agreement between you and Drom.
